Covid 19 Policies

 

Our work place policies ensure that workers and others showing symptoms of COVID-19 are prohibited from the workplace.

  • Anyone who has symptoms of COVID-19 in the last 10 days. Symptoms include fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, new muscle aches or headache.

  • Anyone directed by public health to self-isolate.

  • Anyone who has arrived from outside of Canada, or who has contact with confirmed COVID-19 case must self-isolate for 14 days and monitor for symptoms.

  • Visitors are prohibited or limited in workplace.

  • Please bring your mask with you.

  • Please wash your hands or disinfect as soon as you enter the workplace.

  • We will not be accepting coats and offering beverages while your service is being provided.

  • Please remain seated in your space, and respect others space keeping a distance of 2m at all times.

  • You may request to use the restroom.

  • Please respect and follow safety guidelines.

CUSTOMERS & STAFF COVID 19 PROTOCOL
  • Wear masks at all times.

  • Waves and Smiles no hugs and handshakes.

  • Check client temperature before beginning service. Review COVID-19 protocol for symptoms before intake for service.

  • Ensure no household member has been diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • Ask clients to wash their hands before seating them at your station.

  • Keep one empty station (2m) between each client service.

  • Disinfect stations, tools, equipment, shampoo sink before and after each client.

  • If your client uses the restroom disinfect dispenser, doorknobs and surfaces after each client use.

  • No sharing dishes and break room amenities.

  • Keep 2m distance at all times between clients.

  • Keep gloves on while providing service and avoid touching your face.

  • Practice good hygiene through shift sneeze/cough with etiquette

  • Manage client records properly, make sure we have an updated email address and phone number on Milano software.

  • For face to face services face shield should be worn by employees.

COVID 19 CUSTOMER CHECKLIST
  • Have you or a family member traveled outside of the country in the last 30 days

  • Have you experienced any flu like symptoms (sneezing, coughing, shortness of breath, sore throat, headaches)?

  • Please remain in your seats and if needed you may request to use the washroom

CHECK TEMPERATURE (between 35 – 37.5)

  • Have client wash hands BEFORE being seated at designated spot
